Our exclusive methods of growing and freeze-drying remain at the forefront of the industry and ensure that our product maintains its high quality.
Freeze-drying, or lyophilization, is the sublimation/removal of water content and desorption from the product. This conservation process maintains the cell's structure without any degradation.
After rehydration, both the nutritional value and the quality remains the same as that of the fresh product. Freeze-dried phytoplankton maintains the original shape and texture, unlike air dried/spray dried microalgae which shrink and shrivel due to high temperature processing which decreases product quality. Just add water and the microalgae rehydrates.
Our facility is pharmaceutical grade, completely sanitized and environmentally controlled.
Gesundheit Marine Phytoplankton is freeze-dried and vacuum sealed at the growing facility in Europe and is never redistributed or repackaged.
